Good News-Bad News for Christmas Shoppers

As the Christmas season fast approaches, I hope you're not like me. I start thinking of next Christmas shortly after the current one, even before all the torn wrapping paper has been cleaned up. And I tell myself that I'll not wait until the last minute to finish my shopping the next time. I even begin making occasional purchases of those gifts (and hoping I remember where I put them when Christmas does arrive). Invariably, however, I wait too long to get some gifts and end up rushing to complete my shopping at the last minute.

If you find yourself in that boat, I have a suggestion, but it includes both good news and bad.

The suggestion: A book is always a good idea for a gift. I know that some of the most cherished gifts I've received were books. Perhaps you could give a book to someone on your list (or even buy one for yourself).

The bad news: My publisher went out of business, so three of my book titles are no longer available. Those titles are Combat! Lessons on Spiritual Warfare from Military History, Christ in Camp and Combat: Religious Work in the Confederate Armies, and Evangelism and Expulsion: Missionary Work among the Cherokees Until Removal.

The good news: I still have a limited number of those books, and I'll provide autographed copies for those who want them--until I run out of copies. Just contact me via Facebook Messenger or email (dlpauthor@gmail.com) for prices and to give me an address for where to mail them. But hurry. Supplies are limited, they're going fast, and Christmas is coming soon! I'll get them shipped as soon as I receive your payment. You can still purchase my other titles from either McFarland (for Confederate Cabinet Departments and Secretaries) or Amazon (for all other in-print titles).
